Cookies and local storage, explained plainly

InviApp uses a small set of browser storage technologies to keep accounts signed in, protect the service and remember necessary choices.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files saved by a website. Local storage and similar browser technologies can store information for the same general purposes. This policy refers to all of them as cookies.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for sign-in, session continuity, security, load balancing and choices necessary to deliver the service. Disabling them may prevent account and guest functions from working.

3. Preferences

Preference storage remembers choices such as language, display mode and dismissed notices. It is used to avoid asking for the same choice on every visit.

4. Analytics

InviApp may measure page views, sessions, referrers and product use to understand reliability and improve the service. Event analytics are presented to the relevant host. We do not use event pages to sell third-party advertising.

5. Third-party services

Payment, embedded media, maps, translation or other optional content may be supplied by third parties and can set their own cookies when used. Their policies govern those cookies.

6. Managing cookies

You can remove or block cookies in your browser settings. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off through InviApp because the requested service would no longer function correctly.
